The Round Duct Silencer is part of the Spiral fitting range; RS is with factory-installed EPDM rubber gaskets. The double gasket ensures tight and permanent connections between system components that are air-tight and do not require the use of mastic or sealant.
Round Ducting Silencers for round ducts with connections in accordance with spiral duct standards. The silencers are effective in reducing noise in the duct, external cover made from circular duct with a 50mm glass fiberglass wool attenuating layer. In installations where noise reduction is particularly important, two silencers can be used together.
This is very effective for the most efficient noise reduction and the silencer should be placed immediately behind the fan or elbow. The silencer should be used in conjunction with an insulated fan, as noise reduction is required in both the duct and the surroundings.
